TERMS & CONDITIONS
The term SPC refers to Sharow Photgraphic Competition

SPC reserves the right to display, reproduce and publish in any media any entry, without payment, for the sole purpose of the SPC and exhibition and its promotion and publicity.

No copyright is transferred to the SPC in respect of any works entered or accepted. Each entrant shall be deemed to warrant that they own the entire copyright in the work or that they have permission from the licensee and/or copyright owner/s for the uses and all necessary model releases and clearances have been obtained. The entrant undertakes to indemnify SPC in respect of any breach of the same.

All relevant clearances must have been obtained for the use of the photographs by SPC for publication and exhibition.

The responsibility for damage or loss to the photographs, however caused, is the responsibility of the photographer. The SPC and any venue exhibiting the prints and/or projected digital images from CD-Roms will not be responsible for any loss or damage, whether or not caused by negligence. The SPC advises entrants to ensure that their own insurance covers any eventualities.

Whilst the SPC makes every effort to ensure the publication of images is of the highest standard, we are unable to guarantee the quality of reproduction.

SPC adopts a ‘no cameras allowed’ policy during the exhibition. All print entries will have an owner’s ‘copyright reserved’ label affixed to the back of each and every mount card when received and /or whether the entry is exhibited or not. Entrant’s digital images entered on a CD-ROM will be ‘bound over’ in a secure environment until such time as SPC have instruction from the owner, as to their disposal.
