Photographs can be entered either in digital file format in the form of a CD-ROM or mounted print format [Click here for details]. Monitor screens will be used for judging and throughout the exhibition to display all digital files.

Prizes are awarded for both print & digital file format and also in each and all categories (with the exception of the Club Portfolio of 10 category)

First prize £100; Second prize £50; Third prize £25

In the Print No 4 'Open – any subject' category, an additional award of £50 has been kindly donated for the Best Print submitted by an entrant resident in the Harrogate area. This is defined as either a postcode beginning with HG or a telephone area code of 01423.

School/College Section (digital format only, any subject)
First prize £100; Second prize £50; Third prize £25
plus four commendations at £20 each.
In addition £100 for the School/College from which the winning entry comes.

Club Portfolio of 10 images best portfolio £350 (refer to General Rules for this entry)

Grand Prize for 'The Best Overall Photograph': £350
Runner-up Grand Prize for 'The Best Overall Photograph': £200

Photos entered in the School/College Section will also be judged for the Best Overall Photograph and Runner-up Prizes as well as those entered in the main competition.
