CLUB PORTFOLIO
This category was introduced in 2009 and we are repeating it in 2011 because of its popularity. The category offers photographic club members a chance to win a prize for the benefit of their club.
Prize
First prize: £150; second prize £100; third prize £50
The conditions and eligibility are as follows:
- Club Portfolio of 10 images - must be from a minimum of 7 club members to form the portfolio.
- Category subject: Pictorial. Each portfolio will be judged as a single piece of work, the ten components shot to a pre-determined theme.
- All 10 images will group together to form one single portfolio entry - digital format (.jpg) only.
- The category code is: CLB
- Each file should be titled electronically to facilitate judging - see General Rules.
- The portfolio should be presented collectively on a CD-ROM and sent to the address shown on the entry form.
- Contributing to a club entry does not disqualify members from entering any other category of the competition as individuals.
- Last date for entries to arrive is Wed 1st June 2011.
- Entry fee per club: £20 (cash or cheque only). Cheques should be made payable to Sharow PCC Photographic Account. Entries from overseas $30 US or €25 (cash only)
- Entry fee will be refunded only at or subject to judges' discretion.
- We ask for the Club official's name & email address on entry.
- Send SAE if you wish your entry CD to be returned to your Club.
- If you are happy for us to dispose of your images/entries at our discretion, with money raised from this disposal going to charity, then please tick the entry form accordingly.
Sharow Photographic Competition is promoted by the Trustees of St. John's Church Sharow, Ripon, North Yorkshire UK (HMRC Charity No. XN538270). The nett proceeds from the competition are used to support the work of Martin House Hospice for Children and St John's Church
